Join us on February 15 at 7 pm at the Twin Forks Park Community Building for the Ward 8 Community Action Network’s Annual General Meeting.

Our special keynote speaker is a presentation and discussion by the Rainbow Routes Association. Learn about current and future trail plan developments in New Sudbury and discover the new Explore Sudbury urban walking program, a community driven program with plenty of walking opportunities for people.

Our agenda also includes our 2016 Annual Report, the election of the 2017 Executive team, a Greater Sudbury Police Service update, a Councillor update by Councillor Al Sizer, and a Question/Answer period.

We’ll also be announcing our new Snow Angel project! We’re looking for Ward 8 snow angels who quietly clear driveways or local bus stops, or who help to keep sidewalks clear, or who help keep local trails and paths accessible. Nominations will be open soon!

Light refreshments will be served and children are welcome.
