What would our community in Ward 8 be like if you had the power to make it any way you wanted? What do we want to see in place 5-10 years from now? What's great about our Ward 8 neighbourhoods? What more would you like to see in Ward 8? What would make our community sustainable, equitable and secure?
In partnership with the City of Greater Sudbury and Councillor Al Sizer, the Ward 8 CAN is planning on holding multiple opportunities for you to provide what you want to see in Ward 8. Your feedback will help us to focus on strategic areas and actions in the years to come.
There will be a number of in-person sessions in several neighbourhoods in Ward 8 over the coming year. We'll also have some online opportunities too. In December, we'll put together all of the feedback that we receive to help guide our 2024 projects and activities so we can compile objectives and goals that we can work on with you and our community partners.
Your first opportunity to participate in on Wednesday, April 19 from 7 to 8:30 pm at Twin Forks Park. Because this is an in-person designed session, we won't be offering a hybrid (eg Zoom) option. There will be other in-person and online options later this year where you can participate if you miss this session.
In order to help us organize session materials, we're asking people to register if possible. Register here:
